So here we are, my friends. Another Friday, another check-in. And another Yoda quote.

Earlier this week, we shared in the following:

Change & Fear – The challenge with change comes from our tendency to see it as a problem rather than an opportunity for growth. There is no growth if there is no change. Let’s be accountable, shall we? Intention without action is meaningless.

What is something you’ve thought about changing? Don’t say diet or exercise. Let’s be real here. Yes, yes, that’s stuff important but that’s not why we are here, is it?

– Is there something you want to tell someone? Something that’s been on your mind but have been reluctant to share? Say it.

– Did you need to get clarity about something from a colleague, direct report or boss at work? Ask.

– Do you want to start a new job? Apply.

– Do you want to learn about something? Read.

– Do you have a passion that you haven’t indulged in for a long time? Throw yourself into it.

Don’t worry so much about screwing up.

“The greatest teacher, failure is.”

– Yoda

It’s like me with this blog. I started one in 2019 but stopped writing after about 5 posts. I promised myself this time around that I wouldn’t stop. And seeing my readership grow provides the positive feedback I need to continue. It’s cyclical. You just have to start. Why wait?

Colours, Wonderland and Friendship – Why, as adults, do we confuse Alice? I think we can tie this back to Change & Fear, can’t we?

“Stepping onto a brand-new path is difficult, but not more difficult than remaining in a situation, which is not nurturing to the whole woman.”
